Meet Corey
Hi, I’m Corey—a stroke thriver who never imagined my life would take this turn, but grateful every day even in it’s midst.
In 2021, I underwent a 10+ hour brainstem surgery that changed everything. The aftermath brought ataxia affecting my left-side coordination (walking is a daily challenge), constant left-side peripheral neuropathy (that numb, tingly pain that never fully quits), double vision from a right-eye palsy and nystagmus (my eyes still bounce around), complete hearing loss in my right ear, and slurred speech. It’s real, it’s ongoing, and it’s part of me.
I grew up in an entrepreneurial family, built my own business, and settled into a successful sales career—always feeling like I had a bigger story to tell the world. I just didn’t expect it to arrive via a massive stroke. But God had a course correction in mind, and what started as survival became my calling: helping others live more meaningful lives through purpose, grace, mindset renewal, and hope even in suffering have become a major focus in my life.
Today, I’m accompanied by my beautiful, loving wife Maria, and we’re excited for the family we’re building. My upcoming book Innate Ability (launching mid-2026) shares the raw parts of my healing journey—the doctrines I’ve relearned from a whole new lens, plus practical tools for anyone facing life’s battles.

Keep thriving,
